I have a Dazzle DVC100 with Pinnacle Studios 9. It's decent quality, and at £70 for the whole lot isn't bad price. But I can't help but feel that for really good recordings you'll have to fork out for a HD cap card.

A Dazzle or Easycap is the way to go for standard definition recording, while the Hauppauge HD PVR is the best for high definition recording.
