    Just wondering what you all use for anti-virus and other similar applications.

    Personally, I use Microsoft Security Essentials and Malwarebytes.

    Sophos, frequent backups and common sense

    If something looks suspicious, don't go near it... and if it does get you, just restore your old system.

    Works a treat for me Smile Sophos has an irritating habit of blocking unknown file types. Great if it's a virus - not so great if you're trying to transfer a .FM file.
